Dr. Zhang received his training from renowned orthopedic predecessors in China, including Professor Zhu Shengxiu and Professor Zhang Boxun. He received guidance from Academician Lu Shibin and Professor Wang Jifang, and obtained his doctoral degree in 1997. He has been engaged in clinical and scientific research in orthopedics for nearly 30 years since 1996.
Starting from his graduation in 1986, he has been involved in comprehensive orthopedics. In 2002, he specialized in spinal surgery at the 301 Hospital. After decades of hard work and learning, he has mastered complex and cutting-edge surgical techniques in spinal surgery. These include corrective surgery for scoliosis, corrective surgery for spinal deformities, high-risk surgery for spinal tuberculosis, and surgery for upper cervical spine diseases.
