2-1. Health check-up information

Thank you for choosing Beijing Sanfine International Hospital for your health check-up. We are committed to providing you with comprehensive support and high-quality medical services throughout your examination.


To ensure the accuracy of your check-up results, please carefully read the following instructions:


1. Preparing for the check-up 3 days in advance:


Maintain a light diet, avoid greasy,fatty, high-protein foods, and refrain from alcohol consumption.


. Avoid medications that may affect liver or kidney function.


. Maintain a regular sleep schedule, avoid fatigue, and intense physical activity.


2. Preparing for the check-up 1 day in advance:


. From 22:00 the day before until the completion of fasting tests on the check-up day, refrain from eating or drinking.


. Avoid or limit fruit intake, especially those high in Vitamin C.


Diabetic patients on insulin therapy can have additional meals according to their usual routine.


. Ensure adequate sleep the night before the check-up.


3. Check-up instructions for patients with chronic conditions:


. Patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, or other chronic conditions requiring long-term medication can generally continue their regular medication with a small amount of water.


. Diabetic patients can have breakfast and take medication after fasting tests. Clients undergoing contrast imaging should discontinue metformin 48 hours prior.


4. Check-up instructions for women:


. Schedule female check-ups away from menstrual periods.


. Avoid heavy makeup to aid accurate diagnosis.


. Unmarried women should inform gynecologists and ultrasound doctors to avoid certain examinations.


. Refrain from sexual activity and vaginal douching two days before the check-up.


. Inform the radiologist in case of breast implants for mammography.


. Special considerations for pregnancy, suspected pregnancy, and breastfeeding clients:


    1) Clients who have plans for pregnancy (including the male), or are already pregnant, are NOT allowed to do X-ray.


    2) Please consult your gynecologist before performing gynecologic physical examination (PAP smear and vaginal speculum examination). 


5. For male clients: 


. Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests should be scheduled 48 hours after ejaculation or cycling. 


6. For blood drawing: 


. After blood drawing, please press on the puncture area with a Band-Aid for 5-10 minutes; Do not rub , squeeze, lifting heavy items or engaging in vigorous physical activity, as this may lead to congestion at the puncture site. 


7. Helicobacter pylori breath test instructions: 


. Avoid antibiotics and bismuth for four weeks and proton pump inhibitors or other acid-suppressing drugs (omeprazole, ranitidine and etc.) for two weeks before the test. Please Inform us if you have taken these medications. 


8. Stool routine and occult blood test instructions: 


. Provide stool samples during the check-up process if possible. 


9. Dress code: 


. Dress casually and do not wear contact lenses on the check-up day. 


. You will be provided with a check-up gown. 


10. Other instructions:


. Bring valid identification and commercial insurance documents if required. 


. The check-up process may take 2-4 hours depending on the package. Follow instructions to ensure a thorough examination. 


. Sign an authorization form at the front desk for electronic reports or delegate report collection.


. For group check-ups, settle additional charges after the check-up.
