Dr. Xue graduated from the Medical School of Peking University in 2004 with a doctoral degree in medicine. He is currently the chief orthopedic surgeon at Peking University People's Hospital. He has studied and trained in several countries including the United States, Switzerland, France, and South Korea. With extensive clinical experience, he has performed over ten thousand surgeries and his clinical research focuses on the standardized pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency treatment of spinal cord injuries, minimally invasive spinal techniques, and the prevention and treatment of osteoporotic fractures. He has also undertaken important national and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission projects. As an emergency response expert of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, he has participated in medical rescue operations during public incidents and natural disasters multiple times. He has published over twenty articles in core journals and SCI professional journals, and has contributed to nearly ten professional books. He serves as the deputy head of the Spinal Column Study Group of the Beijing Orthopedic Committee, deputy director of the Youth Work Committee of the Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, member of the Spinal Column Study Group of the Beijing Medical Association Orthopedic Branch, member of the Minimally Invasive Study Group of the Beijing Medical Association Orthopedic Branch, member of the Youth Committee of the Trauma Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, member of the Trauma Orthopedics Group of the Bone Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Health Care, member of the Neurotrauma Repair Society of the Neurotrauma Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and editor of "China Drug Vigilance" and "Biological Orthopedic Materials and Clinical Research".
