In 2018, he was sent to the United States to study at the Medical Center of the University of Pittsburgh, where he completed specialized training in American foot and ankle surgery. He is recognized as a young talent by the Beijing Hospital Administration Bureau and has led or participated in four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
In terms of social positions, Dr. Zhao is an international member of the American Foot and Ankle Society, a youth committee member of the Foot and Ankle Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a youth committee member of the Foot and Ankle Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, a committee member of the Foot and Ankle Group of the Department of Orthopedics at Capital Medical University, and a youth committee member of the China Diabetic Foot Alliance.
