Dr. Shen Huan graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 1987 with a master's degree in obstetrics and gynecology. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2002. She has worked at Peking University People's Hospital for nearly 40 years, during which she established the field of reproductive medicine and founded the second reproductive medicine center in Beijing. She has been involved in human assisted reproductive technology and reproductive surgery, providing comprehensive treatment for infertile patients. Since 2004, she has served as the director of the Family Planning and Reproductive Medicine Department at the hospital, leading the team to achieve breakthroughs and establish a large-scale reproductive medicine center. The center offers comprehensive treatment for infertility, including human assisted reproductive technology, minimally invasive surgery for infertility, comprehensive treatment for recurrent miscarriage, and pregnancy support for threatened miscarriage patients. The center has also become a referral center for difficult cases in traditional family planning surgery. In terms of research, Dr. Shen has focused on studying the impact of environmental pollutants on reproduction, embryonic stem cell research, and clinical research on assisted reproductive technology and minimally invasive surgery. She has received research funding from multiple sources, including the 973 Program, 863 Program, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 50 papers.
